Afterschool Club Assistant


Wellington Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, kind and motivated Afterschool Club Assistant to join our lovely community school in the beautiful village of Wellington.

We are a warm and friendly team, with supportive parents and the Afterschool provision is an integral part of our community school life.

The ideal candidate should have previous experience working with children and preferably an appropriate qualification.

  • Have good inter-personal skills, strong commitment and enthusiasm
  • Ability to relate well with our children, staff and the parents, with a good sense of humour
  • Paediatric First aid trained is desirable or willingness to undertake the training
  • Be committed to inclusive practice

Salary & Benefits

Salary:                         £5, 280.88 to £5,368.45 per annum

Hours:                          10.25 hours per week, term time only

                                    (3.00pm to 5.15pm Monday to Thursday & 3.00pm to 4.15pm Friday)

Contract type:             Permanent Variable (5.25 hours to 11.25 hours)

Start date:                   As soon as possible
                                    (subject to satisfactory references & DBS)
